We tried one of their wines at the Lake Mary Pour and Rum Run and loved it. Since we were going to buy a couple of bottles, we decided to give their food a try. The service was awesome. There was a little bit of a wait so we walked up to the side of the bar and meanwhile we talked to who it seemed to be the manager about buying two bottles of the wine. He said he was going to packed them up for us and he gave us two complimentary glasses of the wine while we waited. Kaaaching! Not two minutes passed and we see one of the servers carrying a small table and setting it up on an empty space in the area for us. Great! Service alone brought up this review to 5-stars. The wine, ohhh the wine. Highflyer Centerline, 2007. It's a beautiful proprietary red blend of Syrah, Zinfandel, Tempranillo and Grenache. IN LOVE with this wine. We decided to order a few appetizers as we wanted to try a few things. Truffle fries topped with herbs and parmesan cheese. Delicioussssss and lots of truffle flavor. We also ordered the beef ravioli. They are fried and served with an amazing meat/tomato sauce topped with parmesan cheese. The sauce was sooo good and it went perfectly with the crunchy ravioli. We tried the capellini aglio oglio which is a small plate of angel hair pasta, olive oil, butter, fresh pepper sauteed with pancetta. This one was good and our least favorite. We did not care much for the creme brulee that we ordered. Pass. I would have given this place 4-stars but the service was excellent and the wine, ohhh the wine.

Food was good. Service ok, dessert.....we felt we were ripped off. Super overpriced for a tiny piece of cake. Almost said to the server, "your kidding right??? Will go back again but they have to get a grip on pricing desserts and since I don't drink that is a huge factor in my deciding where to go for dinner or apps.

I used to work within walking distance of this place. I miss that! This was a great place to catch lunch. Great Points: Outside seating was enjoyable Staff is friendly Food is delicious Prices are reasonable I would get 3 things here: French Onion Soup to start, YUM! Cheeseburger or Vineyard Mix Salad (Blend of gourmet greens, candied pecans, and champagne raspberry vinaigrette) with Chicken. NOM NOM NOM, all 3 dishes were delicious! I would def suggest this place for lunch and it would also be a great location to bring clients/business partners - nice setting and reasonable prices!

Terrible Service!!! My girlfriend and I went here on a Tuesday night, the place wasn't busy and we had absolutely terrible service. We waited 10 minutes for anyone to take our order. We waited another 10 minutes to get a single glass of wine. When we asked for the menu it took forever to get one and then no one ever came back to take our order. This place use to be a nice place to go - now I wouldn't waste my time or money in this place. Not worth it. Terrible service, and costs are silly for what you get.

I've been coming to the vineyard wine co. since it opened and have always had great experiences. There brunch makes getting up on Sunday morning worth my while, lunch at vineyard gives me something to look forward to after breakfast, happy hour, is well, just that, and dinner has always been a tasty way to end my day. The food is delish; from the bar menus, truffle french fries to the many elaborate dinner specials. The menu is always fresh, the staff is friendly and they welcome dogs on the patio. The Vineyard Wine Company is great place to relax and let your taste buds do the work.

The Vineyard is one of our favorite places. The service and food are always great! The Vineyard is right next to an awesome movie theatre. I take my wife here then to a movie. I highly recommend!

Upscale wine-bar ambiance. Nice wine selection. Well executed fine-dining dishes - the 'usual suspects' if you will (steaks, lobster risotto, etc). You won't be blown away by the food, but it's definitley a nice place to have some good food and wine.

It's been a while since we have been to the vineyard. Mostly the reason was the service. The food has always been good for lunch or brunch. We decided to give it a try today and we were turned away at 12:30 on a Sunday because the staff was too busy with a party in the back room. This was after the folks just in front of we're seated and more than half the restaurant was empty. There should have been better staff planning if there was a party of 30 people booked right in the middle of Sunday branch. We eat out very often and entertainer business as well. The vineyard is off my list of local restaurants to go to. Bad service in the past and then turned away today was the last straw.

I have been once for lunch and the truffle fries changed my life. Pretty sure that restaurant across the street starting offering truffle fries to compete with these. It has an upscale vibe but still reasonable for lunch. Lamb gyro was excellent.

Was here on business with a large group. The cheese plate was a great appetizer to share for the table. I had the lobster and asparagus risotto for my main entree. It was very good. My salad was just ok. Service was sloooooow and kind of clueless.

Had lunch here last week. I had their Caesar salad with Chicken, it was excellent. Great menu items and of course wine. I'd recommend.

My husband, a friend, and I tried this one night for wine and appetizers and were unimpressed. I think we had an off-night - the cheese tasted and looked like it came from Publix, and the truffle fries were limp. There was seating outside, but there were no lights, it was dark, and we had to use our cell phones to read the menu. *However* Just the husband and I decided to go for brunch one morning since the reviews were so positive. We're very glad that we did! I ordered the egg crepes and my husband ordered the banana pancakes. My crepes were excellent and had a sage mushroom sauce on top. My husband's banana pancakes were good, not great - they just needed a little "oomph." The mimosas were fantastic - inventive and flavorful. My personal favorite was the prickly pear, but there's also a lovely hibiscus mimosa with an edible flower at the bottom. Service was very quick and friendly. We'll definitely be going back for brunch soon!

I don't how many times I've walked right past this gem! Today, I asked two people on the inviting patio area..."how's the food"? They said, "Great!" I thought best to keep it simple and I was rewarded with an WAY above average meal and drinks. I ordered the 1/2 Angus burger...it was done perfectly and was nice and juicy. I ordered the "Jam Jar" as well as Parducci's petite-syrah "True Grit" . I just found my fav wine :O) The Vineyard is now my "go to" place in the Lake Mary area.

After a recent lunch at the Vineyard with co-workers, I won't be returning. A friend ordered a burger, medium well. The meat came out medium rare. He had anticipated this, so he wasn't upset. If it were my burger, I would have been quite concerned that "medium well" equals bloody/pink. I ordered a Cobb salad. I didn't realize they had children's portions, but somehow that's what I got - a $12 salad that could fit into a tea cup. And LOADED with onions. Seriously?! What a waste. The server was kind enough to hear me exclaim "wow, this is a lot smaller than I expected," and asked me if I wanted soup. No, I want a salad that's sized proportionate to the price. For what it's worth, everyone else's portions were adult-sized, probably 4-6 times the quantity of the miniature salad.

This was a good experience (not stellar), and the service was fine. I thought the menu was limited but if you want a place for small plates/tapa style, this place is the place to go. I had a very good steak but the potato was dry with no offering of butter or sour cream. The steak came on the plate sliced so I could see that it was in fact medium rare, however unless you are plating the meat on something mashed, there is no reason it should have been sliced. I ordered a flight of wines which is suppose to be a two dollars less in the price than half price of all the full glasses, but that discount didn't appear on the bill. Overall, it is a limited menu and slightly overpriced.

this is absolutely one of my favorite place to go at night for dinner and drinks with my girlfriends! Love the atmosphere inside and out-they allow dogs on their patio:) They usually always have a great singer song writter performing and that really sets the mood! You MUST try the tuscan chicken quesadilla! delicious! great drinks! Although a little pricey.. its totally worth it!

Check out their brunch. We went on a Sunday morning and the coffee, bloody marys were a great starter. My bailys irish creme french toast were sweet and more than satisfying. service was attentive, but done in a great slow sunday brunch fashion that never rushed us! our new favorite breakfast place!

I give two stars because the service was good and one star the place is pretty. Perhaps we were there on an off day. One of my sisters ordered the black bean tapas/nachos and said they were not bad. I ordered the chicken skewers dry as a bone with feta cheese, pita, dry hummus and not flavorful tabouli. It was edible and I ate it. It could have been so much better and more flavorful. The other two women got the lobster risotto with asparagus. It came in a huge bowl with the blob in the bottom. The only garnish was the rubbery tips of the lobster claw. It was pureed. The one woman is always picky so when she asked me to taste it I thought it would be fine. Not so good. My other sister who eats everything only eat a small portion. When the waiter asked her how it was she politely said she would not order it again. He could not believe she did not like it! Maybe just an off night. I think I would order other stuff, enjoy the pretty place, wine and good service. It is a little pricey not to strive for a little more.

We celebrated our anniversary by going to a wedding last Friday. Scooted out early to get our "just deserts", counting our blessings while staying married for 9861 days and nights. Decided to check out the Vineyard again. Too muggy a night to be sitting outside with jacket and tie, so off came both. Dude inside was singing some pretty obscure songs (when was the last time you heard someone cover Steely Dan's FM?), most of which I know and liked, with Lightfoot's "Beautiful" being particularly apropos. We drank some unremarkable Italian rose, since they didn't have any champagne splits, and we both thought a full bottle on the heels of the wedding reception could very well kill the marriage right after when we get on the highway, LITERALLY! My wife picked the Romanoff crepes for dessert. I decided to forgo the very tempting brownie, and chose the toffee apple tart instead. SMASHING presentation, and just as delicious-tasting. It's done the authentic French way, as an open tart. The toffee sauce was a little quiet, but the tart and ice cream didn't need much help. The ice cream came in a very generous chocolate "cup", which actually was a slight quibble. I didn't think the chocolate really complemented the other parts, but I didn't want to let it go to waste. Very nice ending to a memorable evening. And for all the romantic lovers out there, may I quote Mr Lightfoot's lyrics to finish this review? BEAUTIFUL - by Gordon Lightfoot At times I just don't know How you could be anything but beautiful I think that I was made for you And you were made for me And I know that I won't ever change We've been friends through rain or shine For such a long, long time Laughing eyes and smiling face It seems so lucky just to have the right Of telling you with all my might You're beautiful tonight And I know that you won't ever stray Cause you've been that way from day to day For such a long, long time And when you hold me tight How could life be anything but beautiful I think that I was made for you And you were made for me And I know that I won't ever change We've been friends through rain or shine For such a long, long time Well, I must say it means so much to me To be the one who's telling you I'm telling you, that you're beautiful. ------------------------------------------------- Happy anniversary, Beautiful.

Friday lunch date is the best here. We get the grilled chicken sandwich and the hummas trio. It is wonderful!

ssoooo...i CRAVE the tuscan quesadilla!!! so delicious and flavorfull!!! All of the food that I have had from here is absolutely amazing. The portions can be small at times, but that means you get the excuse to try multiple plates of yumminess! I haven't tried many of their wine options, but their martinis are fabulous. The Pomatini is my fave! The pink lemonaidtini is quite refreshing as well. They do have a ladies night, which is on Thursdays and that includes $4.00 martinis from their signature collection...so worth it and they don't skimp on the goodness that makes you tipsy. :D They also have live music which is always top notch. The seating is a bit small, but it gives it a very cozy feel and you can also sit outside when the weather permits. Get their early cause it fills up fast, which is always the sign of a good restaurant.

Big fan. Have only had lunch but the food is very good and the fish specials for lunch are outstanding. A must try....

Vineyard is known to be a great wine bar/restaurant, with a knowledgeable staff and solid selection of wines in its inventory. I recently dined in this establishment with several folks I would describe as slightly more than casual wine consumers . In my opinion and according to everyone who dined with me it does not disappoint. The bartender was very knowledgeable and patient --no attitude and the food was pretty good.

I went here for a friends bachelorette party and we ordered some appetizers. Their food is a bit on the expensive side and you didn't get very much for it, but the food was really good. We tried the chicken cordon bleu croquettes, toasted ravioli and the chicken quesadilla. The server recommended a type of wine for my friends and they had two bottles of it, so I'm assuming it was good? Being that I can't drink, I had an unsweet tea, and I think it's just Florida water, but it tasted horrible. They had a live musician there who was phenomenal!! I believe his name was Greg. It's a neat concept for those that aren't beer drinkers... so I'd like to either go back here or to somewhere closer to try this out when I'm able to consume a tasty beverage again!

The Vineyard is a relatively new establishment, but fills a niche that was previously vacant. It is an upscale wine bar that serves great food at fairly affordable prices. The wine selection is vast, and the beer selection is not bad. The server was able to recommend a good pinot noir to my wife, and I was able to find a good belgian beer that suited me. Both were excellent. The menu has tapas-sized plates of various cuisine. We got the Nachos (think gourmet tostadas rather than a mile-high-chili-and-cheese-loaded mess), the tuna tartare, and the prime rib. All were delicious and averaged in the $10 range per plate. Between the three dishes, neither of us left hungry.

We tried this wine bar/restaurant this weekend (it just opened). Food and service was very good. They have an excellent cheese plate and a good selection of wine. I will definitely go back again. Here's a description from their website: Welcome to Vineyard Wine Company . . . an exciting new "vintage" of wine retailer and restaurant. Featuring inspired, tapas-style cuisine. An impressive variety of domestic and international wines ranging from everyday to high-end collectables. Live music and pairing events. Even private wine lockers. All in an elegant, Tuscan-inspired setting that welcomes both novices and connoisseurs.

Don't count on reservations being honored at this place. They could care less about them. You'll arrive expecting to be seated and they tell you to go to the bar to wait for an hour. Take your business somewhere else where they know how to run a restaurant.
